Why do my parcels arrive at different times, can’t you tell me exactly when I’ll get it?

A

We send our parcels out overnight and they are distributed to regional depots for delivery. The depot van drivers work out a different route each day delivering any timed parcels first in the right order (i.e. pre 9am, pre noon etc.) and fitting in all other deliveries and collections along the route throughout the day. So everyday is different and it’s not possible to guess the driver’s route the day before. All the parcels are barcoded and tracked through the parcel system so if you are concerned about a delivery please call us and we’ll tell you where it is.

Why does it cost so much more to have a parcel delivered in the morning?

A

To get a parcel to you at a particular time does mean re-routing all the deliveries in your area to meet your deadline (see above). The extra time and logistics make the process costly and our additional charges reflect this.

Why won’t the delivery driver take a returns parcel from me when I ask him?

A

The simple answer is because he doesn’t know who’s going to pay for it! The driver can only pick up and charge parcels to a customer’s account if the customer has ordered the service. If you want to use Business Link to return a parcel to us, please call our sales line to make arrangements.
